The Stylish Sweatshirt
The first half of the week (basically every day before friday) is always such a struggle to get through with so much going on it’s hard to even think about having the time to look your best. I know I’ve been there when the only outfit I want to wear is my pajamas, but the fashionista in me won’t allow it. So you can guess how excited I was when I found this pullover sweatshirt that was comfortable AND chic.
It’s leaf pattern is half cut out so it exposes skin and then some are appliquéd on. The texture on it is so amazing that it makes it pop. I immediately started trying it on with everything in my closet to see what outfits I could put it with. I loved the idea of dressing it up with heeled boots and some jewelry.
I also loved it with a bandage skirt and heels and even with white jeans making it a white on white ensemble. There are so many different directions you can go with this you just have to experiment and see what works. I paired it with my merlot jeans, they used to have a waxed finish but I washed them the wrong way (Oops!) but now they are a mat merlot and I don’t mind it. I like a more fitted bottom with this pullover because its boxy oversized shape will drown you if your bottom piece is loose fitting as well. I actually ended up getting the sweatshirt on sale at a boutique, there are so many winter sales going on, I definitely recommend doing some shopping now, pieces like these will carry you over into spring so you’ll have a while to wear it. Many pieces considered “winter” pieces that are in the sales can be worn many months of the year so don’t let the idea of it only being for winter shy you away, you can score some amazing items for more than half off.
