Subtle Details

Fashion winter layers - subtle changes

I am back in Savannah and the weather has been so cold! Guess it’s getting me prepared for New York winters. I recently got this basic equipment top which I absolutely love. It has this really pretty flower appliqué down the arms so it will carry over into Spring. I’ve been wearing it under sweaters with the collar and cuffs out and I’ve also been wearing it under my fur vests.

have been focusing on jewelry a lot lately and trying to expand my collection (still on the hunt for rings!) I LOVE mixing metals, this is something a lot of people shy away from thinking that they must wear all silver or all gold but that is not true. Mixing metals makes it much more interesting and lets each piece stand out. I just got this necklace as a gift from a friend and I’m obsessed, it’s a sharks tooth with gold and silver metal, something to always remind me of home. I also just recently bought my first heavy winter cow! Living in coastal NC for most of my life I never needed a heavy coat but with my NYC move just months away this was the perfect investment. I decided to get a camel colored coat with black trim. Black is the perfect neutral but camel is huge this season and goes with everything. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
